Bonnie M Evans White 73, of Mt Carmel Illinois passed away on May 17, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville Indiana.
She was born in Petersburg Ind. on July 8, 1938 the daughter of Charles and Rushie (Fowler) Evans.
There was not to much Bonnie didn't enjoy. She enjoyed spending time in the garden planting flowers and loved to square dance. you would always see Bonnie at Thursday night karaoke. Bonnie took lots of pride decorating for all seasons and holidays.
Bonnie was a lifetime menber of the V.F.W. she was also a member of the eagles, she was a member of Hope Fellowship Church.
She was survived by 2 children, jim white of princeton ind. and Latalia Sutts of Petersburg ind. 4 siblings, twin brother Don Evans of Petersburg Ind. Mary Lou Willis of Petersburg ind.Velva Flint of Petersburg ind. and Mona Dickens( little Jimmy Dickens) of Brentwood Tenn.
2 grandchildren Tadd Sutt and Kyah Sutt,
3 great grandchildren Ellie Sutt, Harper Sutt, and Mason Sutt.
Preceding her in death were her parents , husband, 2 brothers Ival Evans, Kenneth Evans, sister betty evans
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday May 20th at Hope Fellowship Church 123 West 4th St. Mt. Carmel,Rev Daniel Moore and Roger Willis officiated.
Selected songs were Life Turned Her That way and green green grass of home, both sung by Gene Peach and It is well with my soul Going Home, just a Closer walk With Thee, Because he lives, what a day that will be, my tribute and Fly to Jesus was a recording played ORganist was Marcia Woodcock.
pall bearers were Jerry COnnor, Gene Peach, Don Lloyd, Billy Fine, Roger Willis, Robbie Loveless,and Ed Goodwine
Burial was at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
visitation was from 2-3 Sunday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Fellowship Church 123 West 4th Street, Mt carmel Ill. 62863.
