A service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Grace Lutheran Church, 617 West Orangeburg Avenue, for Julius Otto Meidinger, 75, who died Tuesday night when he was struck by a car. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mr. Meidinger was a retired groundskeeper at the Municipal Golf Course. He had been a Modesto resident since 1951. He was a native of North Dakota. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, the Modesto Senior Citizens and the Independant Order of Foresters.
He is survived by a brother and seven sisters, including Ida Howell of Stocton and Irene Milton of San Jose.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel.
