VAN NUYS, CALIF. - Services for Doris Bringle Bice, 78, were Aug. 18 at the Chapel of the Oaks at Eternal Valley, Newhall, Calif. Mrs. Bice died Monday (Aug. 14, 2000) at Van Nuys Hospital.
The Revs. Larry Davidson and Jerry Chudleigh officiated. Interment was at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, Newhall. The Eternal Valley Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bice was born March 16, 1922, in Brook, Newton County, Ind., to Merle and Bernice Bringle. She married F.W. "Bob" Bice in 1947. He survives with two daughters, Christine and Karen Bice, both of Van Nuys; and a brother, William Bringle of Elkhart. A brother Ray "Tim" Devon Bringle, died in World War II.
Mrs. Bice graduated from Elkhart High School in 1940 and moved to California after she was married. She was a homemaker.
Memorial may be given to the Diabetes Association.
