Tiny Victoria "Vickie" Mears of Duck Hill passed away Friday, May 25, 2012 after a short illness.
Mrs. Mears was preceded in death by her husband, James Nash "Buddy" Mears. She is survived by her children, Michael Mears (Coile Estes) of Atlanta, Georgia, Pat Krakos (Roddy) of Ridgeland, Mississippi, Peggy Blackburn (Terry) of Hernando, Mississippi, Tony Mears (Marilyn) of Irvine, California and Geno Mears (Carole) of Mechanicsvlle, Maryland and her sisters, Mittie Ree Moreland of Baldwyn and Ollie Pendley (Hollis) of Lithia Springs, Georgia. 11 Grandchildren & 18 Great Grandchildren. She also leaves many nephews and nieces who she loved dearly. She was particularly proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home in Winona, Mississippi. Visitation will from 3-5 on Sunday, May 27 and 2-3 on Monday, May 28. Funeral Services will be at 3 on Monday May 28. Interment will be at the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Guntown, Mississippi on Tuesday morning, May 29 at 11 am.
