Charles Finley McPhillips
Funeral services were held from Macy’s chapel Saturday forenoon for Charles Finley McPhillips, who passed away Wednesday, June 16, at the age of 70 years.
Commitment was in the Masonic cemetery.
Mr. McPhillips was born in Yamhill county, September 11, 1872, and resided here nearly all of his lifetime. He was a brother of Mrs. Dick Phillips of south of McMinnville.
Owing to the death of Chas. McPhillips’ father, the Selby medal was not contested for on Saturday, The contest will take place to-morrow. There will also be a rifle shoot for turkeys.
