Carol B. Hopf, 84, Green Bay, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2012. She was born on December 21, 1927, in the town of Gibson to the late Ben and Nelia (Jensen) Henningsen. Carol graduated from Mishicot High School In 1945. She worked at Pauly Cheese Company where she met her future husband William R. Hopf. They were married on August 7, 1948 at St. John Lutheran Church in Gibson and enjoyed 45 years together. William preceded her in death on November 29, 1993.

During her lifetime, Carol worked as a volunteer in her church and in the community. As an active member of Calvary Lutheran Church, she assisted in Altar Guild, quilt making, and funeral luncheons. As a mother of four children, she led Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops. In her leisure time, she enjoyed watching Packer games, reading, sewing, knitting, crocheting, bowling, and traveling.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Lorraine Peckham; a brother, Arnold Henningsen, and two sisters-in-law, Hazel Henningsen and Harriet (Robert) Schneider.

Interment will be at Nicolet Memorial Gardens
