A lifelong resident of Kintnersville, he was a son of Dominic T. and Jeannine (Davy) DeBlasio. He was the father of twin boys, Vinnie and Dominic.
In addition to his parents and sons, Dominic is survived by his paternal grandmother, Jenny DeBlasio of Ewing, N.J., and his brother, Stephen, and his wife, Molly, of Downingtown. He also is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Many friends and relatives attended his memorial service Friday, July 9, at Shelly Funeral Home, Plumsteadville. People were lined up on route 611 for hours to get in.
Dominic passed when the motorcycle he was driving struck a stone wall and a tree off Route 563 in Nockamixon.
Family members remember the 1994 graduate of Palisades High School as an optimistic man who was passionate about nature and animals, particularly reptiles. He was also known for being happy and always having a joke to tell. He was everyone's friend.
"He was a wonderful guy and always had a smile on his face," said Jeannine Deblasio, who said her son worked as a cabinetmaker. "He never showed he had a bad day."
