John William Clinton, born June 15, 1875 in Johnston, Rhode Island passed away on September 16, 1938 in Camden, Camden, New Jersey. He was the son of Richard Dorsey Clinton and Mary Jane (Worthington). He was originally from Johnston and Providence, Rhode Island. John married his wife Julia Anna (Gibbs) Clinton on 2 December 1899 and they had a total of 11 children all born in Providence, Rhode Island, however, only 4 of those children would survive into adulthood. He and his wife separated and he moved to New Jersey with his brothers and mother in 1917.
