Distressing Suicide- It is with pain that we announce this morning the death of Mr. Edward W. Hardy, of Norfolk County, which took place by his own hand Friday night at his residence on Little Creek, about 8 miles from the city. The deceased was nearly seventy years of age; was the head of a large family; in easy circumstances, usually enjoyed good health and his mental condition was apparently in all respects good. No cause can be assigned for the deed, unless that of temporary insanity is as received. His funeral was to take place yesterday afternoon from his residence.
