Bobby was known for many things; one being an avid story teller-taking many on the journey with him. He was a lifelong hunter and expert shot, and was known as "Old Hawk Eye." He was a helpful neighbor and always respectful of those in need, especially the elderly. He loved gardening and planted more than enough to share.

Bob was born next door to the family church. He was raised with sound Christian principles and committed his life to God and received the promise of Heaven two weeks before his death. His daughters would like to thank all those who prayed unceasingly for him. He has gone home to be with Jesus, rejoicing with those loved ones who went before him.

He served in the army during Korea from 1953 to 1955, and was stationed in Germany. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union Local 347, West Frankfort.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Southern Illinois, especially Christine, Mellissa, and Brandy, and all the other selfless servants of Hospice. We would also like to thank Dr. Richard George, and his assistant, Judy, of The VA Medical Center.
