MRS. NORA PAULINE RITCHIE, 81 of Huntington, widow of David Wallace Ritchie Jr., passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 24, 2006, at Christ United Methodist Church, Roby Road at 28th Street, where she was a member, with the Rev. Phil Wilson officiating. She was born December 18, 1924, in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late Everette and Grace Fletcher Erwin. She was a homemaker and a member of Guyandotte Chapter #89 O.E.S., whose members will conduct services. She is survived by a son, David Lee Ritchie of Huntington; a niece and her husband, Sherry and Donald Shaw of Columbus, Ohio; a nephew, John Stephen Dalton of Portsmouth, Ohio; and several great nieces and nephews, including a very special great nephew, "Pooh." Friends may visit with the family after 10 a.m. Monday at the church. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Woodmere Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army or the Stella Fuller settlement. Chapman's Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements.
