Adealia was the daughter of G.S. Wedeman and Lydia A. (Davidson). Her siblings were Peter, Hannah (Smith), Frances (Banham) and Ann (Smith). She married John F. Jones and they were the parents of John Jr., May (Elmer) Tingley, and Minnie (George) DeFeeyter. When her husband died, she then married widower, Lorenzo Lawrence on December 28, 1901. He had two daughters and a son from his first marriage. They had two more sons, and a daughter. They also had guardianship of Lorenzo's niece, Irene Reton, whom they called "Ren." Adealia loved to write poetry and quilt. She died from ovarian cancer. She is survived by her sons, John Jones Jr. and William Henry Lawrence; step-son, George Robert Lawrence; daughters, and May (Elmer) Tingley; a step-daughter, Ruth (Jacob) De Feyter; sisters, Hannah M. Smith, Frances (Harvey) Banham, Ann Wedeman; and brother Peter D. Wedeman of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Enos in 1903; a daughter, Minnie (George) DeFeyter; her ward, Irena; a step-daughter, Estella, in 1902; and a daughter, Lydia (Donald) McCullough.
