BULLOCK, Norman J. aka "DJ Big Norm" 31, of Cape Canaveral and St. Petersburg, passed on Friday, Oct. 21, 2011. He passed in his sleep of natural causes, peacefully into God's hands. Arrangements by Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, Cocoa Beach. The viewing and party will be held dockside at Victory Casino Cruises, Terminal B-2, Port Canaveral, Thursday Oct. 27th, from 5-11 pm. The family requests that everyone dress in party attire, not black, as they prefer to celebrate his life, rather than mourn his death. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Petersburg at 10 am Saturday, Oct. 29th at Holy Cross Catholic Church on 54th Ave N in St. Petersburg. Graveside ceremony to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg. DJ Big Norm is survived by his mother, his father, and his brother. Big Norm was a gentle giant who touched everyone's heart. He was the Director of Entertainment, Manager of Club V and resident DJ at Victory Casino Cruises in Port Canaveral. Born in Atlantic City, NJ, Big Norm was raised in St. Petersburg, and graduated from Dixie Holland High School. He was a regular member of the Wild 98 Radio Team in the Tampa, St. Petersburg area and worked for CBS radio. In addition, he was a graduate of the Florida Medical Institute as an Emergency Medical Technician. Norm was an accomplished artist and loved to paint and draw.
