Funeral services for Alice Levada Stricklin, 83, of Bremen, Alabama, were at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2004 at Addington Chapel Church, Darrell Mosley and Manuel Stricklin officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Stricklin died Thursday, July 8, 2004 at Falkville Nursing Home. She was born August 2, 1920 to Tommy and Lizzie Mosley Ogletree. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coil Edward Stricklin, Sr.; her parents; a granddaughter, Linda Marie Gibbs; two great-grandsons, David and Nathan Gibbs; two sisters, Stella Smith and Bertha Hogeland.
Survivors include two sons, Coil Edward (Joan) Stricklin, Jr. and Manuel (Vera) Stricklin; three brothers, Robert, Bishop and Lawton Ogletree; two sisters, Ethel Reed and Lila Wilson; five grandchildren, Cindee Standridge, Rodney (Lourina) Stricklin, Ted Stricklin, Manuel (Ramona) Stricklin II and Jason Stricklin; six great-grandchildren, Brittany, Amanda, Courtney, Dallas, Levi and Carli Stricklin.
Visitation was Friday, July 9, 2004 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
