Afton Baker, the ten year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Baker, died Sunday at their home in Midvale, after an illness of ten months. The cause of her death was meningitis of the brain. Mrs. Baker is a sister of Mrs. Richard Hutchings of Lehi, and the body was brought to her home Monday. The funeral services were held at the Hutchings residence 10 o'clock Tuesday, and the remains were buried in the Lehi cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Tigaskis, Mrs. Olive Doffs of Bingham, Mrs. Zina McCandless and Mr. and Mrs. John Smith of Midvale, accompanied the parents to Lehi and remained here until after the funeral services.
