Sumner married Eliza Lavenia 'Vennie' Kyle on Oct. 10, 1910.
They stayed in the Reynard Community and most of their children were born there.

one child; Tommy Rials, d. Dec 16, 1969 Houston, Harris Co., Texas. Buried with his parents in Dailey Cemetery.
2. William 'Travis' b. May 28, 1913, Reynard. M. Irene Daniels of Elkhart, Texas. d. Aug. 21, 1989, Palestine, Texas.
Children; Nancy Carol, W.T. Jr., James Arnold "Toodler", Daniel Ray
"Danny". Both Travis and Irene along with two children Nancy and Danny are buried at Myrtle Springs Cemetery, Redtown, out of Elkhart, Tx.
3. Hulda 'Rena' b. June 9, 1915, Reynard. m. Forest Walling of Elkhart, Texas. d. Jan. 10, 1955, Grapeland, Texas.
Their Children were;
Lorita, Virginia Grace 'Ginny', twins Pamela Kay and Paula Gay. Also raised a niece of Forest Walling's sister Christine 'Scoot', Nancy Sue Franklin. Both Rena and Forest are buried along with Ginny, Pamela, and Paula at Myrtle Springs Cemetery out of Redtown, Eldhart, Tx.
4. John Roy b. Dec. 4, 1918 Reynard. m. Dawn Curry
d. Mar. 14, 1971 in Crockett, Texas, where they lived.
No children. Buried Crockett, Tx.
5. Edward 'Marvin' b. Dec. 27, 1918, Reynard. m. Vera Collins of Elkhart, Texas. d. Dec. 24, 1971 Crockett, Texas. Buried Crockett, Texas.
Their children were; Billy Marvin, Bettie Marie and Wayne.
6. Twins~Mary Lee and brother. b. May 11, 1921, (brother died same day). Buried Dailey Cemetery with parents.
Mary married Gene Broome lived in Houston. Their children were;
Mike and Steven. Mary lee, Gene and children still alive.
7. 'Irene' Dora b. March 7, 1923 New Prospect. m. William Thomas 'Tommy' Grigsby of Elkhart, Tx. d. June 28, 2002.
Their children were;
Thomas Eugene, and Carolyn.
All are buried at Myrtle Springs, Redtown out of Elkhart, Texas.
