Albert S. Hamlin, Jr., 90, passed away May 27, 2012. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 31 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Road. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Crossroads Hospice. A special thanks to Cameron Veteran's Home and Crossroads Hospice. Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, and son, Stuart Earl Hamlin. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. After retirement from the Post Office he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and working in his yard. Most of all he liked his No. 1 and a Coke from Wendy's. He leaves his son, Eric Hamlin and wife, Kelley; daughter, Leison Dody; stepson, Haddon Kling and wife, Reneé; sisters, Ella Blanton and Mary Jo Gibson; brother, Peter William Hamlin; grandchildren, Emily Braly, Jason Hamlin, Erin Hamlin, Nathan Hamlin, Devon Hamlin, Hannah Kling and Phillip Kling; great grandchildren, Abbie and Allie Jo Braly and Bryant Hamlin.
