Funeral Rites For Mrs. C. Kmiecik
Mrs. Charles Kmiecik, 73, died July 8 in Memorial hospital where she had been receiving care for several weeks. She was a lifetime resident of Nance county.
She was born Eva Tarnick on April 15, 1895, in Nance county. Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Tarnick. On October 23, 1911, she was married to Charles Kmiecik. They farmed near Fullerton until they retired and moved into Fullerton in 1951.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Louis (Elizabeth) Jarecke of Fullerton; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Tarnick of Genoa; and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Stopak, Mrs. Frank Podraza, Mrs. Katie Kmiecik, Mrs. Helen Shotkoski and Mrs. John Prososki, all of Fullerton. Three brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held July 11 in St. Peter's Catholic Church here. Father John Michalak officiated. Burial was in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery at Krakow.
