Services for Carl L. Eberhart, 80, of Brownsboro, Thursday, May 31, at First United Methodist Church in Brownsboro under direction of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors. A Masonic graveside will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Eberhart passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012, in Tyler. He was born July 12, 1931, in the Rock Hill community to the late Carl and Gertie Eberhart. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, retired from Texas Eastman in Longview, was a member of the Brownsboro Masonic Lodge No. 1051 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Brownsboro. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Phyllis Y. Eberhart, in 2009.
Memorials may be made to the building fund of First United Methodist Church in Brownsboro.
