Mrs. Clarence Tesch, 66, of 1001 Forest St, Wausau, died on Monday, April 3, 1978 at the home of her daughter where she lived, Mrs. Kenneth Mook.
The former Lula Wood was born on March 20, 1912 in Medford the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Wood. On May 16, 1930 in the Town of Grover she married Clarence C. Tesch. He died on November 7, 1977. She was a member of the Women's League of the Salvation Army.
Survivors include three sons, Arnold G. Wood of Wausau, Eugene L. Tesch of Hephzibah, GA, and Leo A. Tesch of Detroit, MI; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Mook of Wausau, Mrs. Ardell Schultz of Merrill and Mrs. Alan Ortlieb of West Bend; a sister Mrs. Hattie Norton of Wausau; 30 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 AM on Friday, April 7, 1978 at the Salvation Army in Wausau. Lt. Robert Dixon officiated and burial took place at Restlawn Memorial Park. A visitation was held on Thursday at the Helke West Funeral Chapel in Wausau.
