Gale Dale Ball,57, of Wyandotte died at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at the Veterans' Hospital in Fayetteville, Ark.

Ball was born Feb. 21, 1947, in Miami to Ashley D. and Helen V. Ball.

He was a Vietnam War veteran.

He was a backhoe operator. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Galena, Kan., and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Baxter Springs, Kan.

Survivors include three sons, Gary Ball II of Wyandotte, Tommy Ball of Tulsa and Larry Williams of Columbus, Kan.; one daughter, Michelle Reeves of Springdale, Ark.; four brothers, Edwin Ball of Peoria, Marvin Ball of Alma, Ark., and Terry Ball and Randy Ball, both of Wyandotte; one sister, Pamela Hembree of Seneca, Mo., and 11 grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Braden, Preston, Joseph, Kelsey, Cortney, Bailey, Alyssa, Joshua and Brianna.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the Seneca Cemetery with the Rev. Harold Reaves officiating.

Military rites will be conducted by the National Guard Funeral Detail of Joplin, Mo.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home in Seneca."
