Funeral Services for Ruby Irene Clymore were conducted at 2 p.m. Nov. 7 in the Vaughan-Cantlon Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Terry Hinkle officiating. Mrs. Wanda Holland sang "One Day At A Time" accompanied by Mrs. Evelyn Moore, pianist. Escorts were Ronnie Mabray, Dale Mabray, Jerold Mabray, Danny Mabray, Scott Adams and Keith Van Cleave. Interment was in Bowers Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Vaughan-Cantlon Funeral Home of Urbana.

Ruby Irene Clymore, daughter of Noel and Bonnie (Johnson) Carter was born Nov. 29, 1928 in Urbana and died suddenly on Nov. 5 near her home. She was 64 years, 11 months and six days of age.

She was raised in and around the Urbana community. She was united in marriage to Joe Clymore and to this union three children were born. She served as the local telephone operator in Urbana for a number of years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, in September 1968; her father, Noel Carter, on Aug. 12, 1968; one daughter, Alice June Clymore and a sister, Edith Carter.

Surviving are two sons, Joe and wife June of Independence; David and wife Debbie of Independence; her mother, Mrs. Bonnie Carter of Urbana; one brother Ralph Carter and wife Willetta of Kansas City; one sister Mrs. Elinor Mabray and husband Ralph of Preston; and four grandchildren, also aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends.
