Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Mrs Eliza Ann Pfeiffer, of Nappanee, who died May 4, at the Austin Home in Goshen. She had been ill several months and cared for at the Austin Home for the past eight weeks.
The Rev E Zook, pastor of the Church of the Brethren of Nappanee was in charge of the service conducted at the service conducted at the Wright and Son Funeral Home. Burial was made in the South Union cemetery.
Mrs Pfeiffer was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert Berry, born in Locke Township Sept. 2, 1863. Her marriage to Leonard Pfeiffer took place July 3, 1880, and Nappanee was their home for many years. Mr Pfeiffer died January 18, 1946. A son, John Pfeiffer of Chicago, survives.
