Simon F. Greathouse, 79, of Grantsville, died Friday, May 15, 1998, at his home.
He was born in Calhoun County, a son of the late William and Lydia Shaffer Greathouse. He attended Cremo Community Church.
Surviving is one brother, Burlin Greathouse of Alexandria City, Ala.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Oak, Willard, Ernest, Deacon and Thurman Greathouse, and four sisters, Mildred and Hettie Greathouse, Vivian Simmons and Gwendolyn Smith.
Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Mike Worf officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
