Obituary from The Lowell Ledger, January 31, 1918 - Lowell Michigan:

Mrs. Ida A. Buttermore, wife
of James Buttermore, died at
her home in Lowell January 21,
1918, at the age of 50 years, 2
months and 26 days.

She was married to Albert H.
Bell July 10, 1877, at Cedar
Springs, Mich. To this union
four children were born. Mr.
Bell passed away October 16,
1882, at Trufant, Mich. On May
24, 1887 she was married to
James Buttermore, Lowell, Mich.
To this union two children were
born.

She leaves to mourn their loss
a husband and one daughter
and five sons, Mrs. Frank Collins
of Keene, Albert F. Bell of
Midland, Merle Bell of Ionia,
Mark Bell of Durand, Zeno
Buttermore of Lowell and Howard
Buttermore of Rockford;
also her mother, Mrs. May Oliphant
of Benton Harbor, and
two sisters, Mrs. Ella Barnaby
of Tower and Mrs. John Abbott
of Benton Harbor, besides a
host of other relatives and
friends.

Funeral services were held at
the Baptist church last Thursday
at 2 p.m., Rev. A. H. Lash
officiating; burial at Oakwood.
