Kristie Lynn Kilkenny, age 34, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2007 peacefully at her home in Olathe, Kansas.
Kristie was born September 27, 1972 in Silver Spring, Maryland. She graduated from Bonneville High School in Ogden, Utah in 1990. She received Bachelor's degrees from Weber State and Utah State Universities and a Masters degree in Audiology from Kansas University.
Kristie married Brian Kilkenny in 1996 in Ogden, Utah. She is survived by her husband Brian and children Kristopher and Karoline of Olathe. She is the beloved daughter of Kenneth and Jana Koop of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister, Karla Humm of Denver, Colorado; half-sisters Kim Pecora of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Kandi Mendiola of Denver, Colorado; half-brother, Chip Koop of Provo, Utah. Brian's relatives, who reside in the Kansas City area include, Mike (father), Donna (mother), and brothers Kevin and Sean and their families. Kristie was a gentle, kind, and compassionate lady who always put her family first. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
