Hiliaria L. Seipel, 85, of 216 W. Grand St., Chilton, died on Monday, Dec. 7, 1998 at the Chilton Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on Aug. 7, 1913 in St. Nazianz, daughter of the late Edward and Clara Gutman Broeckert.
She married Norbert Seipel on June 9, 1936 at St. Gregory Catholic Church in St. Nazianz. He preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 1994. She had worked for St. Mary Catholic School in Chilton as the head of the school lunch program for many years.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton, the Christian Mothers, the Mission Society, the Calumet Medical Center Auxiliary, the Catholic Order of Foresters, the Chilton Eagles Auxiliary and the Chilton Senior Citizens.
Survivors include two sons, Jack (Lisa) Seipel of Waupun, Mike (Sue) Seipel of San Ramon, Calif., a son-in-law, Francis Krutzik of New Holstein; seven grandchildren; a great granddaughter; a sister, Imelda Scharenbrock of Sheboygan; five brothers, Rembert, Roman, Ed and Art Broeckert all of St. Nazianz, Bernie Broeckert of Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law, Vernetta Seipel of Chilton; Edwina Paul of Brillion; a brother-in-law, Herman Seipel of Chilton; nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Krutzik on July 23, 1998; and a sister, Sister Roman Broeckert.
Funeral services will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church, the Rev. Gerald Coulthard SDS and Rev. Norman Krutzik will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
