HOLD SERVICES FOR AUGUST H GLADE MONDAY AT BELFIELD
Funeral services were held Monday in the German Lutheran Church at Belfield for August H. Glade, former Billings County Commissioner, who died at his home 18 miles north of Belfield Saturday morning. Death was caused by cerebral hemorrhage. He had been ill five years.

Pallbearers were A.E. Boicourt, J.F. Tester, O.F. Talkington, John Godfrey, C.E. Geesaman and Joe Fritz. The Rev. Raymond Holzhauer of Dickinson officiated. Interment was made in the Belfield Cemetery with Price Service.

Mr. Glade was born February, 11, 1867, in Cook County, Illinois, and attended school there. He married Miss Minnie Reese in Pipestone, Minnesota, on October, 25, 1900. He had lived in Billings County, ND 35 years, homesteaded there in 1909. He served as Commissioner of Billings Counting eight years.

Survivors are his widow, two sons, William and Alfred at home and a daughter, Mrs. Walter Olson, of Medora; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Klemme and Miss Dora Glade, of Le Mars, Iowa, and a brother Christ Glade, of Cook County, Illinois, and eight grandchildren.
