Biography:
Cannie was the daughter of Joshua William Harvison and Samantha Jane Boren. She told her children and grandchildren that Samantha Jane Boren was buried in the McClain Cemetery.

Cannie married William Bradford Lee, son of John L. Lee & Perlina Gosnell on 24 Nov 1912 in Wolf Pen, Arkansas. William Bradford Lee died in 1931 and is buried in Brushy Creek Cemetery in Berryville, AR. Cannie never remarried.

After the death of her mother, Cannie's father Joshua William Harvison married the much younger Effie Lee, sister of Cannie's husband William Bradford Lee.

After the death of her daughter Vinnie E. Lee Bailey in 1940, Cannie took in and raised Vinnie's two sons, Nathan Leroy Bailey and Chester Dale Bailey (my father). After WWII, Leroy and Dale's father Shomer Watson Bailey returned to AR for his sons. Shomer, Leroy and Dale Bailey then moved to Compton, California and then to Laurel County, Kentucky. Shomer, Leroy and Dale can all be found on the 1940 Census in the Berryville, Arkansas household of Cannie Harvison Lee.
