Horace W. Brier
Horace W. Brier, 86, of Hemet, Calif., a former resident of Jamestown, died there Wednesday (Nov. 2, 1977)
Brier and his wife, Rae B. Brier, moved to California in 1950. Mrs. Brier preceded him in death in 1971.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lois Turnbull of Jamestown, and Mrs. Phyllis Ball of Hemet; and a granddaughter Mrs. Melissa Rolnick of Phoenix, Ariz.
The funeral service will be held in California with a committal service in Jamestown later.

A private committal service for Horace W. and Rae B. Brier of Hemet, Calif., formerly of Jamestown, was held Friday in Lake View Cemetery. The Rev. Gilbert Laidlaw of St. Luke's Episcopal Church officiated. Mrs. Brier died Jan 4, 1971 and Mr. Brier on Nov. 2, 1977.
