James (Jim) Hawkins

James (Jim) Hawkins, age 64, of Stillwater, died Thursday afternoon at his home at 406 South Third Street.
Mr. Hawkins is survived by his wife Vera, his mother Mrs. Pat Hawkins of Mankato, one brother Joseph of Owatonna, and two sisters, Mrs. Cecil Callahan of Stillwater, and Mrs. Chris Abrahamson of Mapleton.
Mr. Hawkins has been a resident of Stillwater for the last 35 years and had been employed by the City of Stillwater until he retired 12 years ago.
Mr. Hawkins was active in American Legion and Eagles.
Friends may call at Simonet Funeral Home after 3:00 Friday afternoon, and a parish vigil has been set for 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 8:30 a.m. from Simonet Funeral Home, 9:00 a.m. from St. Michael's Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Bayport. Fr. Leonard Nelson officiated. Pallbearers were Wm. Lecuyer, David Seggelhe, Donald Barnett, Thomas Zimmerman, Albert Retzer, and Herbert Lange.
