Babe was the beloved little ferret/daughter of findagrave contributor Frank Russo. We got Babe in the early spring of 2000. At the time she was the youngest of the 4 ferrets we had, our "Baby." We eventually just called her Babe for short! She was a really neat little girl who was full of life. She always had fun with her other Brothers and Sisters! She enjoyed taking sips of wine once in a while and liked to try to steal the wine bottles even! She never ever hurt anyone, was a Happy-go-lucky Soul and like all her Brothers and Sisters, was well behaved and very loving. She was only 4 years old when she was diagnosed with Adrenal Cancer, but before she could be brought in for an operation, she passed away suddenly on the afternoon of July 9th, 2004 while I was away on Vacation. The Vet said that she apparently had advanced cancer that we had not tested her for, most likely Skin Carcinoma. Her death absolutely broke the hearts of our family, but, we know that she is now in God's hands, playing with her older brother Podey, running with all our other furbabies in Heaven. She is in our hearts until we meet with her one day again when we cross over the Rainbow Bridge together. We love you Baby Girl!
