He was assigned to the 125th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss Texas. SPC Kedith L. Jacobs, U.S. Army, age 21 of San Antonio passed away May 27, 2012 in Afghanistan. He was born June 6, 1990 in Atlanta, GA. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis L. Jacobs; daughter, Alora L. Jacobs; mother, Sherry King; father, Reverend Michael King; brothers, Michael G. King and Christian J.L. King; mother-in-law, Patty McFarland; brother-in-law, Lee McFarland and a host of other family and friends. A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at Dodd Field Chapel at Fort Sam Houston. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors.
