Edward immigrated to America with his step-mother Martha Chowles and his half brothers Gabiriel, John, and Benjamin

6 Sandy family members were re-interred from Odd Fellows Cemetery on May 27 1885 at West Laurel Hill Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd. We believe that they are as follows:
1) Edward Sandy Sr (Father and owner of lot)
2) Hannah Sandy (Mother)
3) Lewis C. Sandy (Perhaps a son of Lewis C Sandy or Edward Sandy Jr) Exact relationship unknown at this time.
4) Julia G. Sandy (Believed to be Julia G. Kite Sandy, wife of Lewis C. Sandy)
5) Mary C Sandy (Believed to be the young daughter of Thomas Wheeler Sandy and Mary Jane Sandy buried at Odd Fellows in 1863)
6) Thomas W. Sandy (Believed to be the young son of Thomas Wheeler Sandy Sr and Mary Jane Sandy who was buried in Oddfellows on 15 September 1868)
