Thomas Lee Cornell, 55, of Nicholson, died Sunday at home.

Born Jan. 4, 1956, he was the son of Larry and Reedy Yetter Cornell of Nicholson. Tom enjoyed his vacations to Florida visiting his parents. He had a love for music, blue grass festivals and his guitar. He enjoyed spending time with his dear friends and spoke of them often. Tom will be dearly missed.

Also surviving is a brother, David and wife, Lin, Nicholson; two nieces, Crystal Tompkins and husband, Sean, Clarks Summit; and Sherry Evans and husband, Brian, Factoryville; and a great-niece, Shea Tompkins.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Charles H. Litwin Funeral Home, 91 State St., Nicholson, with services by the Rev. John Shaffer of the Nicholson United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to the American Cancer Society.
