George E. Sides, 58 years old, en employee of the Bethlehem Steel Company for fourteen years, died at noon yesterday following a stroke which he suffered on Tuesday. Until then, he had been In excellent health.

He was born and reared in Highspire, and was a life elder in the Highspire Church of God.

Surviving are his widow; four daughters, Mrs. Frank Durham, Miss Rachel Sides, Miss Henrietta Sides and Miss Catherine Sides and four sons, Samuel, Robert, Walter and Harold Sides, all of Highspire.

Funeral services will be held at the Highspire Church of God at 10 o'clock Saturday morning. The Rev. Frank Thomas, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in the HIghspire Cemetery.
