He was born January 5, 1918, to Leander Casto and Minnie Commer Casto.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Imogene Casto; a son, Harold E. Casto; a daughter, Betty Jane Casto; a granddaughter, Jennifer Spurgin; and a grandson, Timothy Randolph.
He was retired from Railway Express Company.
He is survived by children, Patricia A. Spurgin of Parksersburg, Doris J. Michael (Archie) of South Charleston, Edward L. Casto (Linda) of Sissonville and Daniel J. Casto (Diana) of Marmet; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 18, at the Long and Fisher Funeral Home,
Sissonville with Pastor David Peters officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery, Kenna.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday.
