Steven Lee Beck, age 39, of Tamaroa, IL, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 2:25 a.m. surrounded by his loving family in his home.
Steven was born on October 21, 1972 in Pinckneyville, IL, a son to Dennis and Pam (Lambert) Beck. On October 13, 2001, he married Christy Zettler in Gatlinburg, TN and she survives. Steven was a member of First Christian Church, Pinckneyville, IL and worked as an electrician for Pro Energy. He enjoyed wood working, fishing, gardening and dearly loved spending time with his family.
Steven is survived by his wife, Christy Beck of Tamaroa, IL; father, Dennis Beck of Chester, IL; mother, Pam Beck of Swanwick, IL; a son, Jordan Ward of Tamaroa, IL; four daughters, Macie Clark of Pinckneyville, IL, Cassidy Harmon, Baleigh Harmon, and Sophia Beck all of Tamaroa, IL; a sister, Heidi Beck of Belleville, IL; maternal grandmother, Florence Lambert of Swanwick, IL and many dear aunts; uncles; cousins; and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wilfred Lambert and paternal grandparents, Archie and Edith Beck.
Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Jeff Tucker officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.
Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
