Oldest Church Member
Miss Jeannette Miller, aged 90 years and 10 months, died at 7 o'clock Wednesday evening at the home of her sister, Mrs. George Cole, after an illness of a week of heart trouble aggravated by her great age. The funeral will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at the residence of Mrs. Cole and burial will be in Green Hills cemetery.
Miss Miller was a daughter of Archibald and Isabelle McKellar Miller and was the first of their family born after they came to Dryden from Scotland. She was the oldest member of the Presbyterian church in age and membership. She joined the church 78 years ago, in 1852. All of her life she resided in the town of Dryden.
She leaves her sister, Mrs. Cole, and her youngest brother, Archibald Miller of Iowa Falls, Iowa.
