Services for Eldon N. Klein, 67, 2717 Bankston Drive, will be at 11 am Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, Iowa. Friends may call from 2 to 9 pm Thursday at the Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home, 1640 Main St., where there will be a wake service at 4 pm.
Mr. Klein farmed in Rickardsville, Iowa, and worked for Beyers Aviation for 25 years. He last worked for Crescent Aviation.
He was born on March 10, 1927, in Rickardsville, son of John and Clara (Merkes) Klein. He died Tuesday morning, May 31, 1994, at The Finley Hospital.
He married Clara Abresch; she died in 1971. He later married Betty J. Clark on May 1, 1976.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society.
Surviving are his wife Betty; two sons, Dennis J. (Kathy) Klein and Kerry A. Klein, both of Dubuque; a daughter, Mrs. Wilfred (Julie) Konzen Sr. of Dubuque; two stepsons, Jerry Heiderscheit of Great Bend, Kan., and Dennis (Judy) Heiderscheit of Dubuque; four stepdaughters, Patricia (Bill) Doran, June Heiderscheit, Kathy (Paul) Haverland and Cindy (Charles) Goodwin, all of Dubuque; 23 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; three brothers, John T. (Marina) Klein of Rickardsville, Aloysius (JoAnn) Klein of Mumford, N.Y., and Theodore (Norma) Klein of Atlantic Highlands, N.J.; and two sisters, Dolores (Werner) Sigwarth of Dubuque and Helen (Jerry) Singsank of Luxemburg, Iowa.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Marcellus Klein.
