There is very little in "300 Years with the Corson Families in America," Orville Corson, Middletown, OH 1939, Vol. 2 concerning Henry Young Townsend, apart from a brief biographical entry in connection with his parents.

Per "300 Years with the Corson Families in America," Orville Corson, Middletown, OH 1939, Vol. 2, page 92 entry 21612

Henry Young Townsend (born 1744, died May 13, 1789) was the second child and eldest son of John Townsend and his second wife, Tabitha (Young) Townsend, the daughter of Henry and Abigail Young.

Also per that same book/entry, "John Townsend was the eighth child of Henry Young Townsend and his second wife, Edith (Stites) Swain, the widow of Daniel Swain."

It's unclear which of Henry Young Townsend's children were to him and his first wife Priscilla Ludlam; or to him and his second wife Edith (Stites) Swain.
