The sun was shining and the birds were singing when God called her home. LOIS ARLENE BLEDSOE, 81, of Salt Rock, passed away April 10, 2010. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Richard Black. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery. She was born Sept. 1, 1928, in Lincoln County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Chancey and Susie Galloway Dillon. She was a member of the Merritts Creek Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence G. Bledsoe. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Berkley Neff of Hampton, Ga.; one son, Edward Bledsoe of Salt Rock and his companion Marsha Brumfield; two grandchildren, Richard and Kelly Bragg and Jessica Bledsoe; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Benjamin Pinterich and one on the way, Logan Thomas Bragg. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
