A.W. Long Dies Suddenly
A.W. Long, a prominent farmer living about ten miles Northwest of Mound City in the "Lonesome" vicinity was found in a dying condition last Sunday evening and he passed away in a short time without recovering consciousness.
Mrs. Long and her son Ollie had visited at the John Gentry home on last Sunday and on returning home about eight p.m. found Mr. Long lying on the sofa, unconscious. They immediately called their neighbors, also Dr. Nauman of Criag, but life was gone before the arrival of the physician. He had planned to go with his wife and son, but decided to stay at home and rest and insisted upon the others going. He had been troubled with heart trouble for some time and Dr. Nauman had been treating him.
