Sarah Ann Moore was the daughter of John & Sarah W. (Prior) Moore.

She married Hiram Theodore Sherrick, son of Henry Drumm and Mary Josephine (Dauley) Sherrick, on 24 May 1873 in Perry Co., OH. They had eleven children, all born in Perry Co., OH:

Mrs. Sarah Sherrick Dies Near New Lexington

NEW LEXINGTON, O. - June 12
Mrs. Sarah Ann Sherrick, 87, died tonight at her home four miles east of here. She had resided in the vicinity for 50 years. Funeral arrangements were incomplete.

Mrs. H. T. Sherrick Funeral Saturday

NEW LEXINGTON - Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Anna Sherrick, 87, will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at the Iliff church, McLuney. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Sherrick, who was the widow of Hiram T. Sherrick, died Wednesday at her home, four miles east of here, following several days' illness of complications.

She had resided in ths vicinity for the past 50 years.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Blanche Cherry, of Crooksville; Mrs. Marcella Dixon, of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Dorothy Daniels, of Chicago, Ill., and four sons, John H. Sherrick and C. A. Sherrick of New Lexington; Walter W. Sherrick, of the home, and Clarence Sherrick, of Urbana, O.

The body was removed to the residence this afternoon from the C. L. Chute funeral home, New Lexington.
