Adolph was the third of nine children {four sons & five daughters} born to Stephen & Mary S. (Polifka) Wilda.
In the fall of 1917, Adolph married Marie J. (or "Mayme" as she was known) Kubsch; he was age 22, she was 17. "Mayme" was the oldest of ten children {four daughters & six sons} born to Matthew G. & Josephine (Naidl) Kubsch.

Adolph was electrocuted while repairing a high tension line north of Sheboygan, WI near Francis Creek, WI. He had been a lineman for six years for the WI Public Service Corporation. He died at age 33.
