Tillie was the daughter of Berryman Hamrick and his second wife Celia W. Pannell. Tillie married Abram Chauncey Washburn 1n 1884, when she was only 14 years old. (Tillie was only 10 yrs old when Abram's first wife died in 1880!) Abram & Tillie had 6 children, and were married for 51 years. She lived a long life and was survived by her 6 children, 20 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She died the day before what would have been her 81st birthday. She was a faithful member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Macon, GA.
