Murdo was the son of Donald "Smoke" MacAulay 1853-July 29, 1911 (accidentally in Winnipeg) and Christina MacKay May 1953-April 3, 1945 (9 Children).
Murdo died in the yard of the Scotstown Plywood Mill when a load of logs fell off a truck on him.
