--It was believed that Adams was either putting in or taking out a gun from a gun rack when it accidentally discharged. He died in an ambulance enroute to Keller Memorial Hospital at Fayette.
--He was born March 13, 1948, at Armstrong, and was a member of the Armstrong First Baptist Church. He was employed by the Hawthorne Division of the Kellwood Co., Glasgow.
--Surviving besides the parents are two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Angenendt, Armstrong; Mrs. John Madaus, Marseilles, Ill.; three brothers, Jerry and Tommy of Fayette; Benny of the home; a grandmother, Mrs. Bennie Griffin, Armstrong; grandfather, Frank Adams, Flat River; and five nieces and six nephews.
--The body is at the Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Armstrong First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dallas Bundy, officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery at Armstrong.
