Mr. Borkey, 80, of Richmond, was survived by his wife of 51 years Frances, two daughters and their husbands, three grandchildren, two sisters, and a brother. Mr. Borkey was preceded in death by his son, "Trippy" Borkey. He was a member of Tuckahoe Presbyterian Church, a Submariner during WWII and retired from the Navy after 22 years of service. He was a member of the U.S. Submarine Veterans, World War II, Tidewater Chapter and he retired from VDOT in 1986.
