Phylurie Jane McMahan was born at Dawson, Nebraska, February 22, 1860 and departed this life at Falls City, Nebraska, January 31, 1936, at the age of 75 years, 11 months and 9 days.
At the age of 5 years she moved with her parents to Craig, Mo., where she resided until her illness in September 1935. Since then she has been with her daughter Mrs. C. E. Henson in Falls City.
In 1875 she was united in marriage to Zack Randall of Craig. To this union 8 children were born, 2 of whom with Mr. Randall preceded her in death, Mr. Randall died 2 years ago.
In her early life she accepted Christ as her Savior and united with the Christian Church.
She is survived by her children Mrs. Minnie Bowman, Falls City; Mrs. C. E. Hansen also of Falls City; Mrs. D. C. Hopkins of Abilene, Kansas; Earnest and Elijah Randall of Craig; Earl Randall of Atchison, Kansas, one sister, Mrs. Lucinda Wellers of Salem, Nebr.; one half sister, Mrs. Rose Carpenter of Lamar, Colo.; 3 half brothers, Elbert, Emmett and Harvey DeLong; 28 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted from the home in Craig, Sunday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Albert Martin and the body was laid to rest in the New Liberty cemetery.
